Francis D. Agyare, JD/LLM '03
Before starting his own practice, Francis was an immigration attorney with Abramson+Immigration Solutions and NH Catholic Charities in Manchester, New Hampshire and also an adjunct professor with the UNH School of Law, where he co-taught the Immigration Law Clinic. Francis has handled all manner of individual and family-based immigration cases, including immediate relative petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, VAWA self-petitions (Violence Against Women Act), removal defense, and much more.
After interning as a law clerk for Judge Randall R. Rader of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, in Washington, D.C., Francis worked as in-house assistant patent counsel for DEKA Research and Development Corporation in Manchester, NH
A native of Ghana, Francis received his bachelor’s degree in biology from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1994, followed by a master’s degree in molecular biology and genetics in 1996. He earned his master’s and juris doctorates in law from UNH Law in 2003 (then known as the Franklin Pierce Law Center). Francis has served on many non-profit boards in Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association and Patent Bar (US Patent and Trademark Office).
